Hydromechanical Debridement Device

Debridement is the first step in wound care and can be achieved through different manners. Debridement is the removal of necrotic and hyperkeratotic tissues, extrinsic debris and residual material from wound site that provides a suitable environment for granulation tissue formation, re-epithelialization and activates platelets and growth factors that are involved in the healing process.

Hydromechanical (aqueous) debridement is a method in which debridement is performed by the mechanical force of water.
