Formation Of Ideas
Wound Medicine Technology (WMT) was sparked in the mind of a researcher – entrepreneur after designing and inventing an herbal gel and solution with wound healing properties (2019).
Deployment in Health Tech
WMT started its journey in 2021 at the Development Center of Health Technology of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute Satellite) under the name of “Batis Vira – Wound Medicine Technology”.
Establishment Of Our Company
After One year of primary progress and central core formation , it was registered under the name of ” Wound Medicine Technology ” at the Tehran Department for Registration of Companies and Non-Commercial Institutes ( 2022 ) .

We rely on the experience and knowledge of our team in the fields of basic and clinical sciences of wound medicine upon providing a wide range of state-of-the-art and specialized products and services to promote the patients’ quality of life.
Mission and Goals
Prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of chronic wounds (diabetic, venous and pressure ulcers) is very important due to high costs, reduced quality of life and related complications that may lead to dysfunction, social isolation, hospitalization and even lead to the death of patient.
So, in order to reduce the pain and complications followed by wounds, we decided to play a significant role in controlling and treating this problem by developing a wide range of high-quality solutions.
We also try to develop educational products and programs to raise the knowledge of patients and health care providers about wounds as another high-value goal of us.
Vision
In the 21st century, the aging phenomenon of societies is rising rapidly and it is estimated that about 16% of the world’s population will be over 65 years old by 2050. Old age is associated with various non-communicable diseases that put these individuals at risk of developing a variety of chronic wounds.
These statistics sound the alarm that a tsunami of chronic wounds might not be far off the mind in the future.
Our farsightedness about the horizon of the health system, population change, and wound care; made us consider the necessity of public health support by planning for training programs and developing advanced technologies of prevention and treatment of various types of wounds.
We are intended to take advantage of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary fields (medicine, biotechnology , nanotechnology , plasma , electronics , mechanics, IT , polymer engineering , textiles , ….) and programmed research and development to reach our goals and visions.
